Comfortable use
Columa 300R features a detached external display, allowing you to comfortably select volume and programming. The display and control box also features an output for headphones, and does double-duty as a remote control for the system. Place it near the television and the conceal the large receiver/subwoofer wherever you'd like.
Digital inputs
The subwoofer of the Columa 300R has four inputs for digital sources (2x coaxial, 2x optical). Connect any number of modern devices and enjoy them at their fullest quality level: media hard drives and streamers, Blu-ray players and recorders, DVD players and recorders, DVB-T/Sat/Cable receivers, PCs, notebooks and gaming consoles.
Analog inputs
Up to three different stereo devices can be connected to the Columa 300R receiver/subwoofer: i.e. an iPod dock, a DJ mixer, an MP3 player, a video recorder, even tape decks... basically anything with a stereo output.
Radio
An AM/FM radio with an integrated tuner capable of storing 40 stations is included. An RDS display makes choosing a station easy.
Integrated Decoder
A Dolby Digital/dts component decodes digital signals for authentic 5.1 surround sound rendition. Stereo sound is upscaled to virtual 5.1 surround sound using Dolby ProLogic and played on all five speakers.
250 watts of RMS output for 30 sqm
The internal multichannel amplifier housed in the Columa 300R subwoofer distributes 250 watts of RMS output to the system's five satellite speakers. It can even deliver up to 350 watts in short spikes. This output guarantees substantial Teufel sound for rooms up to 25 sqm.
Extreme bass
This system's subwoofer delivers powerful bass sound – 125 watts of RMS output are reserved for the bass driver alone! The subwoofer's Klippel-optimised 250 mm bass driver is housed in a 41 litre bass reflex enclosure and delivers tangible bass down to 35 Hz (-3dB).
Choices for every scenario
No two rooms are alike – and that's why Teufel offers the Columa 300 in three different configurations. Choose a combination of column speakers ("FR") and short wall-mounted satellites ("FCR"). A horizontal centre speaker is always included, and the choice is between four columns (Set "L"), four satellites (Set "S") or two of each (Set "M").
Harmonious overall sound
Columa 300 is designed to fit into any living space, and can be freely placed around the room – put the columns in the front position with the satellites in the back, or vice-versa. All five speakers of this set are identically configured and operate within the same enclosure volume. This ensures harmonious, even sound.
No cheap seats
With Columa 300, there won't be any cheap seats in your home theatre. The speakers deliver thanks to two 70 mm mid-range drivers working in conjunction with a high quality 19 mm mesh dome tweeter (with a Neodymium magnet). That translates into captivating sound even outside of the ideal listening range (the centre seats).
Magnetic screening
All of the Columa 300 speaker chassis are magnetically screened, meaning the speakers can be freely placed throughout a room without needing to work around the television or monitor.
Solid aluminium
The Columa 300 isn't just elegantly housed, its enclosures are made from solid aluminium. An expensive but premium-quality material for loudspeaker construction, solid aluminium delivers unprecedented stability and isn't often available in systems in this price range.
Optimal tuning
Columa 300's five loudspeakers and subwoofer are perfectly tuned to one another using electronic filtering. This guarantees optimal overall sound, and it's an advantage to you to buy this system which has been tuned by the manufacturer.
