Cubycon® 2 Wireless "5.1-Set"

Simply connect the RearStation 4 transmitter and you've got wireless rear speakers. The receiver is positioned at the back oft he room (for insance, on the wall or on a shelf). Signals that are intended for the rear speakers are transmitted directly tot he rear speakers.

Connecting the AV Receiver
The subwoofer is connected via the input via an RCA cable to the Sub Out jack on the AV Receiver, while the three satellites for the front (Front left, Front right and Centre) to the speaker cables to the speaker outputs of the AV Receiver and are supplied via power this way.

The AV Receiver conditions
The device must be able to run the signals fort he rear channels via phono sockets (pre-outs). These are generally labelled with "Side" or "rear left/right". Check on the AV Receiver's menu that these are enabled.

The satellites: Coaxial drivers
The coaxial drivers in the low-reflection aluminium enclosure are specifically designed for use with the Cubycon. The small diameter of the driver is offset by the power oft he transmission characteristics. The coaxial consists of an 80 mm midrange speaker with superior 20 mm tweeters in Waveguide technology.  Additionally, an 80 mm woofer is added to this duo. All three drivers have an ultra-light membrane. This guarantees a balanced frequency response in the higher frequency ranges, better directional clarity, optimal speech and higher, distortion-free volumes.

Satellite: 2-way speakers
The CUB 2 FCR is designe das a high-performance 2-way system. The single driver works perfectly. Balanced neutral sound is guaranteed; a prerequisite for enjoying your film or music. All Cubycons are kitted out with the same driver and are identical. Set them on a shelf or place them on a wall and you're set.

Subwoofer: flat and deep
Teufel explored new heights of sound in the development of this subwoofer. A total of three high-performance woofers have a small diameter (130 mm) but an extremely large hub to ensure the low width of 21 cm (upright).  The best part? You can place this subwoofer vertically or horizontally - the sound doesn't change. So set it in the cabinet, on the sideboard, under the TV or next to the couch.

In addition, the sub has a 150 watt Class D amplifier, automatic start-up and shut down, and a power consumption of less than 0.5 watts in standby mode to save energy and conserve the environment and your budget. Various options can be setup for easy adaption on the back of the subwoofer.

Cubycon design
The Cubycon 2 combines a very high level of quality with simultaneously timeless and appealing design. The aluminium material of the satellites provides fantastic sound as well as low-resonance feedback. All drivers are magnetically shielded, and the satellites and sub have expressly been designed so you can place them lying down or standing up. The Teufel logo is magnetic and can be easily switched.

Suitable for any AV Receiver
Each satellite has a sensitivity of 89 dB (2.83 V/1 m) and a pulse loading capacity of an enormous 140 watts. Please note that your AV Receiver will need a special Pre-out jack to connect to the RearStation.

Please note: If your current amplifier doesn't support connections to Pre-outs, use our Level Converter AC 5011 AP. This converts speaker high level signals into RCA format.
