The Raumfeld Base
For a Raumfeld system of more than one room (multiroom) you'll need the Raumfeld Base. Different rooms can then stream (either the same or different) sound of your choice from your entire music collection, from streaming offerings such as simfy, Last.fm or Napster or from over 50,000 different radio stations, including your local favorite.

The specially optimised wireless surprises with its absolutely clear and stable play back in multirooms. Even high definition audio (in 24 Bit and 96 Hz) can be played easily.

Raumfeld Controller presents network sources at a glance and organizes music titles into one clearly arranged library. It accesses playlists (i.e. iTunes playlists) which are available in the home network, and also creates lists of recently played tracks, radio stations and playlists.

It shows currently playing music titles in waveform – delivering instant visual feedback about the playback status in every room. This is the host for your multi-room audio system and a central access point for the high performance audio streaming WLAN in two or more rooms. The Raumfeld Base creates an autonomous, parallel WLAN reserved exclusively for audio streaming. It has 160 GB of capacity, and can be expanded via USB and an external USB 2.0 hard drive. It has the bandwidth for lossless audio streaming. Enjoy music from the web or your music collection anywhere in your home. All settings are automatically transferred at the press of a button.
