Adjusted Group delayThe AGD technology Teufel Audio uses combines two aspects: a balanced linear frequency response with a time-precise sound playback of differently-placed sized units.
Through extensive measurements, listening comparisons and constructive individualities, the AGD technology allows a timely, optimised runtime playback for simultaneous frequency response. This is a precise, subtle setting devised to approximate the acoustic centers of the tweeter and midrange driver without affecting the amplitude frequency response.
Long lasting listening pleasure
The T series has been developed to allow long-term listening enjoyment. These improvements include adjustments to the amplitude frequency response, step response, phase characteristics, dispersion and extensive listening tests. Rest assured we are constantly fine-tuning these babies before they're set loose upon the world.
Living room integration. The T series is perfect for a normal living room. Today's living rooms and their minimalist design require a different acoustic design than in the past. The "bathtub" frequency response" with its pronounced bass and treble is too much for present day rooms. We've optimised these for the modern home.
Better tweeterThe new ventilated tweeter sits again in optimised waveguide housing. The result: eliminated waves and a more even sound radiation pattern. This increases the brilliance and presence of the high-frequency range. Also, you don't just need to sit in one spot to enjoy the full wraparound sound.
Better midrangeFor medium frequencies a 135 mm Klippel-optimised driver with a lighter, more rigid cellulose membrane is provided. The large 32 mm voice coil is not shabby even at high volumes and ensures extremely low distortion. The midrange acts in its own housing.
Better wooferThe 135 mm Kevlar/fibreglass Klippel measured woofer with its long stroke surround and highly resilient 32 mm voice coil is a marvel. You get an analytical, precise bass without superficiality. The meticulously tuned downfire bass-reflex design presses the cutoff frequency down to 48 Hz.
Crossover and Housing
The high performance crossover was a preicse mapping of the individual frequencies to a specialised driver composed of particularly low distortion components. All membranes are decorated in black, with the body of the tweeter receiving a gunmetal finish. The T 400 Mk2 screams quality sound! The housing is prepared for Teufel spikes if needed, while rubber feet are included form the factory.
PositioningA wall positioning is recommended, though positioning throughout the room is fully possible. Optimised waveguides disperse the sound to minimise early reflections.
A simply amazing set.
