Give your bass a boostThe TURN is a pair of headphones that know how to generate deep, powerful levels. But that’s not all. Our developers here in Berlin made sure that the TURN also has a light touch, able to reproduce fine details and extremely natural playback thanks to the following:
- Linear frequency response ensures harmonious sound
- Lightweight driver membranes for high-definition playback
- Large 40 mm drivers generate high, distortion-free levels
- Roomy ear cups allow a 3-dimensional soundstage to unfold
Innovative Bass Booster technologyA large articulated dial on the left ear cup makes it easy switch between an enhanced bass mode and neutral playback. On or off, you’ll still enjoy a balanced differentiation of all sonic elements.
The TURN’s low impedance tuning ensures powerful, highly detailed playback with strong bass from every source device whether MP3 player, smartphone, television, PC or notebook.
Thanks to its closed design and excellent sound isolating properties, the TURN is well suited for use on commutes or even as a DJ headphone. The large soft ear cups are extremely comfortable. They also keep your music from leaking out and outside noise from intruding into your sonic oasis. The comfortable headband can be easily adjusted for a perfect fit.
Super-size your soundA rubberized steel headband and steel hinges create a rugged foundation for TURN. The headphones were also successfully drop tested from a height of 1 meter. Still, we don’t recommend leaving the TURN lying around. Someone could get hurt.
Included with deliveryAlong with a stylish TURN bag, a 1.3 m long cable (with 3.5 mm mini jack) is included with delivery. The fabric covering on the cable effectively reduces microphonics.
The cable can be removed and features a gold-plated jack and plug.
Insider tip - TURN for Two!The audio cable can be connected to the TURN on either the left or right ear cup. Whichever stereo jack socket is free can be used to connect an additional TURN. This is the perfect solution for watching YouTube videos or the same music with your nearest and dearest. Take “turns” choosing the next track!
Test the TURN for up to 8 weeks.

Read"With 50mm driver, 32 ohms of impedance and a frequency range from 20 to 20000 Hz, Teufel’s TURN is a headset for those who like to listen to music with a quality product. The possibility offered by the dial –- of either a more neutral sound or one with deeper bass -- opens up the use of the product for different situations. If you use it in a recording studio, for example, you’ll choose a neutral sound to properly listen to all the tracks simultaneously. For personal listening, you may prefer the lower sound signature as mentioned above.
"The TURN is an extremely versatile pair of headphones and provides very high-definition sound."
International Business Times IT02.05.2017
The preferred genres for use with these headphones are therefore very wide: rock, jazz, pop, metal – it’s up to you. The TURN is an extremely versatile pair of headphones and provides very high-definition sound. The ear cups are really big and they cover the ears well. But to be clear, Teufel’s TURN is a heavy enough headset: (almost) 500 grams are quite a lot, and after an hour of use, you’ll want a break. But the listening experience is the product’s most important function, and there is little to criticize about it: they feel very good, even at very high volumes, the details are not lost or distorted."

Read“The TURN has two playback modes: On the right ear cup there is a dial for switching the sound from “normal“ to “bass booster” mode. This enhances the bass present in a song without dispersing the sound, distorting it or otherwise compromising the quality. The second selectable setting renders the TURN very suitable for bassy music as well as music with a lot of beats. Its suitability extends from electo to rap and metal, but one can really discern the fine details with classical music as well.”

“The TURN is a powerful and aggressive all-round monster. The high level of workmanship makes the thing robust. It can be thrown into a backpack without a second thought if you’re in a rush. The sound is top [...]. Well done, Teufel.”

Read"The headphones performed very well in our user test (Star Wars: Battlefront, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Rainbow Six: Siege, Blu-ray movies and audio CDs). The soundstage was very harmonious throughout. High frequency ranges as well as middle ranges were clearly played back. The bass is punchy but at no point excessively hard. Even virtual surround sound (a feature of the Creative Sound Blaster Z sound card) was no problem for our test sample. We were able to localize our opponent’s steps very well, but the TURN’s strength clearly lies in music. Here one benefits from a neutral sound which is important to listeners of various genres. An interesting feature: A large articulated dial on the left ear cup. Turning this dial raises the bass by approximately 3 dB at 100 Hz. This is ideal for electronic music and similar genres.”
"The new TURN is nearly unbeatable when it comes to workmanship and bass performance."
"The new TURN is nearly unbeatable when it comes to workmanship and bass performance. We seldom see such well made and robust headphones in our editorial department. The punchy bass that can be enhanced with a dial left us with a proper “WOW” feeling, above all with electronic beats. The high degree of wearing comfort and the premium audio cable also speak in favor of purchasing our test model [...]. In short: Gamers and those who love bass can opt for the TURN without hesitation.”

Read"The most important aspect of any pair of headphones is without a doubt the sound and this is where the TURN does well. Those who enjoy contemporary pumping beats will immediately come to love the Teufel headphones. The sound when we switched off the bass turbo surprised us. We aren’t used to such a neutral almost virtuous sound from the Berliners."
"TURN me on"
ReadDJ headphones need to be robust if they're to withstand hard use at the decks. This requirement is at the top of the TURN’s feature set. Teufel took this requirement to heart: The headband is made from spring steel and is thickly encased with rubberized elements. The resulting durability and feel could be one-of-a- kind in the world of headphones. The at times rather complex hinges on typical DJ headphones were identified as weak spots by Teufel. For this reason, the joints between the headband and the brackets that connect to the ear cups as well as allow the TURN to be folded together, are of an extremely robust construction.
"Great headphones for everyone looking for extremely robust headphones capable of really big sound.”
In terms of sound, the TURN is unstoppable. Every tone is a statement, every beat a manifesto. When it comes to dynamics, the Teufel seems to know no limits. The sound is a real turn on, one reaches for the volume dial reflexively – more of this stuff, up the dosage. Compared to the TURN, most hi-fi headphones appear to have no teeth. The price? The TURN is no sophisticate. It doesn’t have to be. Other criteria are what count, although – if one is able to control oneself and forgoes the enhanced bass mode and is able to keep the volume levels within reason, it’s possible to listen to cultivated music with the TURN. One can, but one doesn’t need to. With the right music and the requisite levels, the TURN is in its element.
